Marian Bayer: "Paintings and Messages from Spirit"

Interview with Marian Bayer:
Paintings and Messages from Spirit
by Theresa Nygard

Who would think that a teaching fellow at Harvard University, with two master’s degrees, who has held executive managements positions in corporations and government around the world, would be in yoga class and receiving visits from friendly spirits?  That’s Marian Bayer’s experience:  “I'd be trying to do a pose, and someone would come and push me over and and I would hear a giggle.” Bewildered, she would look around, and seeing no one near, would realize a playful spirit was visiting. “I would say, 'Okay that's funny. I know you’re here. Thanks, but let me do my yoga practice.'”

Since that time Marian has developed her abilities, and now communicates with a group of beings in spirit called “The Famous 8,” a group of spirits consisting of a doctor, a professor, an angel, a mother, a protector, a philosopher, a comedian and an artist. The messages and paintings they share with us are intended to help mankind. “Painting with the spirits really came about one evening when in a meditation group with James Van Praagh. I had the good fortune of sitting right next to James during the meditation. As we shared what came through to us, I had no idea that what James would say next would change my life forever. He looked at me and said, 'Spirit says, keep painting.'”

Since then, Marian has gotten to know the eight spirits as individuals, just like us, and they have pushed her to grow beyond her limits. “It's an amazing group and I'm very honored to work with them. They really encourage me; they give me confidence and faith. They ask me to stretch my medium abilities, and push me to grow beyond my private nature. I just think it's such an honor to have this connection with them and to support the work that they're trying to do.” They look to Marian to help share their wonderful messages. For example, Mother Spirit says, “Don’t let words, especially your own, bring your down.”

Marian says that when she does readings, “You would think that people would want to talk to their mother or a loved one who's passed, but many people come to me wanting to talk to their guides.” Realizing so many people want to know more about spirit guides in general and develop a closer connection with their guides, Marian now offers a workshop on connecting with your spirit guides. What she enjoys most about teaching is creating a genuine safe, open conversation so people can ask what's been on their mind and feel comfortable exploring their questions.

Part of the information the spirits want her to communicate is how spirit guides work: Why spirits choose to be spirit guides; what they have to do to become a guide; how the guides learn to offer support in a way that a person will accept the information, rather than dismiss it or be afraid of it.

“A spirit has to train and study hard to become a spirit guide. It is not easy work to be a guide. There are special skills they learn like lowering their vibration, they practice how to reach us, and they have to prove themselves.” The Professor, one of the spirit beings in The Famous 8, teaches at a university on a spiritual plane: “It's a two-year program in our terms of time. Sometimes I set the intention that I'm going to go meet up with the Professor, and I arrive in his classroom. Occasionally I'm even the guest lecturer there and we will have a question-and-answer session, just like here when I teach a class. I see the student spirits there, and to me it's just as real as this room – I can see what the classroom looks like, what the different spirits look like, what they're wearing, their personalities, and I interact with them just like I do with the students in my class. So I'm doing in the spirit world the same thing I'm doing here – I help bridge the worlds.”

For Marian, painting is another way she bridges the worlds. About 15 years ago she took up oil painting. “I never took any lessons; I just dabbled in it for relaxation. Several times while I was painting I could feel where I went to a different dimension, and it was like someone else was painting through me. It was just so automatic; it felt so loving and comforting, nurturing and nourishing. Now I get the feeling to paint, or a spirit is nudging me, asking me to paint. I never know what's going to show up on the canvas, but the spirit painting gives me a feeling or tells me what colors to use. I just hold the canvas and paint with my fingers, turning the canvas and paint some more, then eventually the images show up.”

Oftentimes Marian will paint for the purpose of healing or shifting the energy of a spirit that comes to her. Once a man in spirit came to her to paint. “He was crying and very upset. His three year old daughter had passed away while he was alive, and he never got over it – even as he went into spirit, he still carried that grief with him. So through me he painted a painting for Penelope, his daughter. When we finished I could feel his energy shift and some of that grief release for him. That helped him move on in his journey. When I do a painting like that, for me it's like art therapy for spirit.” Other times, a spirit will come through to paint and give a message for a particular person.

In addition to private sittings to allow Spirit to create paintings for people, Marian does readings as a medium, she offers energy healing sessions, and she volunteers in Echo Bodine’s remote healing program. “My whole life I knew I was supposed to use my gifts to help others. My work was meaningful, but now pales in comparison to my work as a medium and my connection with The Famous 8, channeling their paintings and messages. Helping someone connect with their spirit guides or loved ones who have crossed over is the most important work I will ever do.”

Susie Kleppe ~ "The Mystical World of Fairies"

Spirit Unlimited conducted a special interview with Susie Kleppe, a "Faeriologist." As a Faeriologist, Susie Kleppe studies any and everything regarding faeries, elementals, and nature spirits of all kinds. She has presented classes on the subject of faeriology at conventions, expos, and has been featured on local news shows. She does fairy card readings, channels the Fairy Continuum, and is the “Resident Faeriologist” at the Faery House in Buffalo. Susie can be contacted at www.faeriologist.com. Read on to learn about her special understanding of the Fairy World.

Interview with Faeriologist Susie Kleppe:
Discovering the Mystical World of Fairies

By Theresa Nygard

Fairies are the subject of much and much question and mystique.  Faeriology is the study of fairies, elementals, and nature spirits, as they may appear in fiction, myth, and the first-hand accounts of people who have had fairy encounters. Twin Cities “Faeriologist” Susie Kleppe loves to explore this information. When Susie was a toddler, her mother would set her out in the pasture, up against an oak tree, and say, “Sit here and play with the fairies, Susie.” Susie thought this was fantastic: “I'm a two year old, I'm new to this universe, I'm thinking, 'Cool, this is what life is here!' So I just sat there and played with my fairy companions.” Her mother’s ingenious daycare arose out of her own belief in fairies. “My mother called them the 'Little People'”, says Susie, “and she had a fairy companion, a green man, who was with her until the day she died. He took my mother’s hand and led her back home.”

Susie's mother encouraged her to explore spiritually, to learn about and visit different churches. When Susie was 18, she got involved with the Gnostica Bookstore in Minneapolis, the beginning of Llewellyn publications, a large metaphysical publisher today. There she took classes on numerology, tarot, palm reading, astrology. Susie also studied Seth materials, and took classes taught by Byron Katie, before she became a best-selling author.  Susie comments about her classes with Byron Katie, “That was astounding work back then, and it is still really powerful work that I use when I need it.”

Susie also cites the movie “The Secret” and the law of attraction materials by Esther and Jerry Hicks as part of her spiritual development. Susie says that when she read Ask and It is Given, “I felt as though I’d known this my whole life, and now someone's written it out. “

When her youngest child turned 18 and left home to go on tour as a professional figure skater, Susie asked herself, “Now what do I do?” She wanted to find something that inspired her. “Then I came back around to my interest in knowing about fairies. I wanted to know if other people have had experiences with fairies, and what kind of experiences they’ve had.” Susie delved into the literature available, ventured off to fairy conventions, and took classes to hone her skills in communicating with the fairy kingdom.  She started her own website, and most recently has been appointed the “Resident Faeriologist” at the Faery House in Buffalo. There she does fairy card readings, provides information, and sells fine fairy merchandise.

Susie remarks that she can tell when fairies are around by how she feels:
“When I'm feeling hyper-joy, that's the fairies. Now I feel them rather than see them, but when I was a child, I saw them in many different forms.  Fairies will come in whatever form they feel will serve the person the best. So initially they came to me as twins, Jackie and Johnny, who were the same size as me, the same age as me, and we just played. When I got a little older they were still named Jackie and Johnny, but they were more like an advanced fairy being.”

Susie feels that fairies have a specific purpose on the planet. “I would give this comparison. Angels are the messengers to and from God – they speak on God's behalf, do God's work overall.  Fairies, on the other hand, have their dominion in the natural world. And as human beings, homo sapiens, mammals, we are part of that natural world. So they interact with us to that degree. We're just one small part of their world. They pretty much do their thing, and they like to see us evolve, progress, and be happy. Sometimes I hear them joke, , 'Be happy damn it!'”

Susie has a group of fairies that work with her, she calls them the Fairy Continuum. “These fairies are trouping fairies, so they travel with me. Some fairies will be a flower fairy and stay with that flower and not go anywhere.  I asked the trouping fairies if they had a name I could refer to them by.  Fairies don't like names, the whole concept of labels is repulsive to them – because you can't really explain what they are. They said I could call their group the Fairy Continuum.”

Susie believes that she herself originated as a fairy. She speaks of the adaptation process of living on the planet: “It's not so much the body that I had difficulties with. It was the darkness, the contrast, of the world that was really crushing to me, There are so many young ones coming in now, they're here counter-balance that darkness. But when they interact with that, it's like they can't even breathe.”
At this point Susie speaks of a teaching dream she had, which helped her understand how to deal with the darkness.  In the dream the advanced fairy beings Jackie and Johnny are on each side of her as she looks out the window .  “It’s dark, thunder is booming, lighting is crashing down, buildings are being destroyed -- it's just chaos, and all kinds of darkness. I'm saying to myself, 'Oh my God, this is really horrible, I feel terrible.' And the fairy beings with me said, ‘Right, now we want you to turn around and look out the other window.'  And out the other window is a beautiful sunny day, it's like a Disney movie: Everything is beautiful -- with bright colors, birds and fairies flying around. And they said, 'Susie you always have a choice of which window to look out.' And that was awesome to me, because I can remind myself, 'What window am I looking out right now? Do I need to turn around?'”

When Susie works with young people, she says that sometimes the most important thing is helping them understand they don’t have to do anything about the darkness. “That's not what they're here to do -- they're here to turn on the light, that's their job. There's no turn-off-the-dark switch. There's only a turn-on-the-light switch. To cope, that's what we have to do, we have to just keep turning the light back on.”

Michael Underwood -- "A Dark Night of the Soul Leads to Angels and Guides"

by Theresa Nygard

When Michael Underwood came to Minnesota in 1990, he went through a dark night of the soul. Everything in his life had been taken away except for a good job. “When an experience like this hits you, you lose your hope, but you gain a thirst to search for answers,” says Michael.

For a period of about 7 years Michael took every spiritual and metaphysical class he could find, exploring, learning, and healing himself in the process. During this time Michael became more connected with his angels and guides, receiving guidance to fulfill his life path. Through this connection he discovered his teaching, counseling and psychic abilities. Now, 23 years later, Michael says, “I love Minnesota, I would never leave. The number one thing I love is the people -- they're so positively motivated towards improving their physical, mental, and spiritual health.”

From a young age, Michael has had a thirst to explore all religions, to go beyond the bounds of his traditional religious upbringing and beliefs. Over time Michael was guided to understand a more compassionate, non-judgmental God. “Now I see God as a higher level of love than what I was taught as a child. If we feel we have done something wrong in our life, we will be guided to learn the right in our life, no matter how many lessons it may take, no matter how many lifetimes God needs to bless us with. I believe this is a love that is greater than anything I could ever conceive of, a higher power that never condemns us and never gives up on us.”

Michael's life has led him on an interesting journey, from playing in a band that toured the United States and warmed up for the likes of Ted Nugent and the Allman Brothers Band, to working in the oil fields, to being a minister, to holding a high-level corporate position today. “My career path has always been divinely guided, in the music world, in the corporate world ,and in the spiritual world.”

In the music world, Michael followed the guidance of his angels and guides in deciding to leave his hometown of Chicago at the age of 19, despite his family’s disapproval of touring with a rock band. Recently he has felt led to build a complete professional digital recording studio in his home, where he records gifted musicians, bands, radio shows, and produces guided meditations and books on CD.  “To me,” says Michael, “music is tool to help get your mind out of the way so you can tap into your intuitive creative flow. It's basically the same process with spiritual intuition – it's the letting go of your thinking, analytical mind that opens you up to creative intuition.”

In his corporate work Michael has been presented with many opportunities to use his spiritual guidance and intuitive gifts. Sometimes it's simply a matter of encouraging someone or knowing how to positively guide souls down their path. Sometimes people reach out to him. When 9-11 happened Michael was working at a Fortune 500 company here in Minnesota. His boss, a corporate vice president in Houston, called him up, saying “You're the only one that I feel can share this with, because I respect your work and intuition -- I had a dream last night that this would happen -- I saw the towers, I saw the whole thing in a dream.”

Michael has learned how to navigate the corporate world as a spiritual being, and be a blessing at the same time: “A lot of people criticize the corporate world and try to change it from the outside. If you really want to make a difference, change it from the inside. That is where you will gain respect and can use your intuitive gifts to make positive changes. Then, if you get a premonition or you talk about intuitive abilities, they're going to listen.”

In the spiritual world, Michael is an ordained minister, counselor, psychic, and spiritual teacher. Michael has taught a variety of spiritual classes through the past 20 years. Teaching people to connect with their angels and guides is one of his favorite classes, because he sees people regaining their hope in life, feeling like they've got a place to go for guidance concerning their life path. “When you learn how to connect with your angels and guides, you create a sense of confidence in yourself and your own life decisions. For me, it's all about helping souls get to the point of having enough confidence in themselves to make their own life and spiritual decisions, and feel good about it.”

Developing your Psychic Abilities

by Theresa Nygard

When Michael Underwood was going through a difficult period of his life, he went to a psychic, who told him, “Michael, you're a teacher, you're very psychic, someday you'll be a minister, and your classes will become very well known.” Michael was startled by this information: “I had never taught a class in my life," he says, "I had never thought about being a minister.”

Nevertheless, the seed was planted, and at that point he took some classes on developing his abilities and began experimenting doing readings. “It's like faith, you have to build it one small step at a time.” In the beginning, he said, there was tendency to doubt himself. But as he would receive validations from others on the information he was receiving, he built his confidence.

Early on in doing readings, two girls came to him, about 15 or 16 years old, wanting to know if he could pick up any information about them. “All of the sudden I could see and sense a third girl. I described what her dress was like and the details of everything I saw. These girls said that was a friend of theirs who had just died. I had never done that before, I had never tried to, I was just telling them what I felt. It was so intense I knew it was real. Those are the kind of things that tell you it's not your imagination, that the information you are receiving is accurate.”

Occasionally, says Michael, he receives information that doesn't seem to fit at all. Once he did a reading for a woman, who he saw with two dogs. She said, “You're totally wrong because I hate dogs.” She came back a year later just to tell Michael that she had two dogs and she loved them. Says Michael, “Many times you just have to be honest about what you're feeling, about what you're seeing, about the information you're receiving, even though it may not seem to fit.”

Sometimes information may seem like it's not coming through. In cases like that, Michael says, “Maybe there's a reason it seems blocked, maybe there's a reason you're not getting the answer you need. Maybe there's something you should not tell this person. Let it be what it is.”

Early on Michael experimented with a variety of ways to receive information, and through this process discovered which ways work best for him to receive information. He finds he tends to receive most information through sensing or feeling. Sometimes during readings he will hold a person's hands, and from that connection he will be able to receive information about their past lives and things occurring in their current life as well.

The biggest hindrance to developing his abilities, Michael says, was simply trying too hard. He found the best asset in developing his psychic abilities was meditation – clearing his mind and asking himself, What do I see? What do I hear? What do I feel? “Let your imagination go wild, whether you believe it or not, just let it go. Don't try to analyze it, don't try to figure out what it means. Then as time goes by you'll start to see what it means. You eventually learn through the process, and by seeing how the information you receive relates to people as you do readings for them.”

Michael believes the purpose of a psychic is to support and encourage people. “If a psychic gives you discouraging information, they probably don't have your best interests in mind,” he says. “As a psychic, you're here to help people grow and get through their challenges. You get the intuitive information as the first step. The second step is to ask yourself, 'How do I present it to them in a way that helps them to grow?' You have to take time and ask yourself where this person is at, and how can you help them, because that's what it's all about.”

Alan Pritz -- "A Passion for Meditation"

By Theresa Nygard
Alan Pritz, of Awake-In-Life Meditation & Spiritual Training, has felt a lifelong call to teach.  Originally from Cincinnati, Alan attended Macalaster College and subsequently made Minnesota his home.  With over 38 years of spiritual practice, Alan is a meditation teacher, Interfaith Minister, yogi, consultant, has presented at national conferences, plus, was selected by the US Army Reserves as “Meditation & Life–Balance Resource” for a veteran social reintegration program.

Read on to learn about what inspires Alan and how he knew at a young age that spirituality was his calling.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

How did you awaken to and develop in your spiritual path?
When very young the first word I saw in the dictionary was “Minister.” I recall it said “Minister of good,” not “Minister of God,” and told myself, “That’s what I want to be.''

Years later I saw a TV western with two Samurai on a Wild West frontier mission. Cowboys wanted to fight them because they looked odd but the samurai beat them handily and went on their way unfazed. Impressed by the warriors’ remarkable calm while fighting, I launched into martial arts as a teen. I continued training rigorously throughout and after college, eventually becoming an instructor in two martial systems. During this time, I devoured books on eastern philosophy and mystical traditions.

At 28 I went to the Sierra Nevada foothills of California to pursue yoga and meditation training.  After six years I returned to Minnesota where my career expressed itself variously through bodywork and energy healing, a meditation-based yoga center, holistic consulting services, writing two books, and now as an Interfaith Minister specializing in meditation and spiritual guidance.

Historically, whenever I meditated on what to do the answer was, “Teach.” In my mind this isn’t because I’m exalted but, rather, teaching helps one learn, to take subjects to new levels. I don’t fit into molds of what a spiritual teacher is supposed to be, say, eat, think, etc. so in a sense I am very non-conventional; sometimes even iconoclastic. However, I’m a purist solidly loyal to my path and its teachings. I simply resist pretense and strive for Truth.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?
There comes a time during instruction when information simply flows; one becomes an impartial conduit for wisdom and insight to pour through. This is what I most value because I’m being spiritually useful and blessed with increased growth through the process.

Can you describe an experience where you worked with someone and brought about a transformational shift that you found rewarding?
There are many stories of folks whose lives have been touched or shifted in spiritually beneficial ways because of work I’ve facilitated. For example, one woman found me at a time in her life when her eating disorders had reached critical mass. Despite various treatment programs, she didn’t quite have it under control. When we started working together privately she experienced a pseudo-epiphany that subsequently played a significant role in helping her climb out from under that demon. I can’t take credit it for it - God is the real doer - but, I was glad to be part of her process.

What have you learned about teaching and healing as a business?
There’s a saying, “Do what you love and the money will follow.” I've found that to be magical thinking. Scads of talented people - artists, inventors, musicians - have followed their muse and died penniless. Being gifted doesn't axiomatically translate into business savvy. Once, being immature, I considered business non-spiritual and irrelevant. Yet business principles can, and should, be used ethically to promote any work, including spiritual teachings. God works through business channels too, hence its value is unquestionable.

How did you become drawn to the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda?
During my period with mystical literature, I discovered Yogananda’s “Autobiography of a Yogi” but didn’t read it immediately. I saw it again at a friend’s apartment, scanned a paragraph, and was hooked. I bought a copy and couldn't put it down. It touched me to the core. Later, after becoming a Yogananda disciple, I learned that my college philosophy professor had been a direct disciple of Yogananda. He knew Paramahansa personally and told fascinating stories about him. When close to dying, my professor gave me his copy of Autobiography of a Yogi that Yogananda personally autographed. That is a treasure.
Yogananda's mission in the West involved hastening spiritual evolution through Kriya yoga plus sharing the universality of truth as taught by Christ and Krishna. By assisting in those efforts I strive to help further that work - yet without proselytizing. What’s important is providing quality spiritual technique, training, and philosophy so people can deepen their relationship with God while remaining true to their faith tradition. Truth is universal, its application nonsectarian.

How did your family regard your choice of a spiritual path in life?
Choosing an alternate road can be challenging on many levels but my parents were always very accepting. My brother walks a different path but appreciates my dedication and accepts the value of what I bring to the table. These are blessings for which I am most grateful.

Alan Pritz teaches classes on the Spiritual Science of Meditation based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda. Rooted in classical yoga tradition - and excellent for all yoga practitioners - it is also universally applicable for anyone interested in making meditation a part of their lifestyle.    Alan also Alan leads an ongoing All-Faith Meditation Worship Service. Marie and Lynn Savage -- "A Little Faerie Magic"

by Theresa Nygard

Marie Savage, of Earth & Water Wellness in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, offers a variety of healing modalities to enrich her client’s lives. In addition to private sessions, she also leads group hypnosis workshops. Group participants are guided into deep relaxation, and then can access past lives or meet spiritual guides and angels.  She views hypnosis and her other modalities as tools for resolving problems and exploring our spirituality.

In this interview, we take a look at the work Marie is doing with assistance from her husband Lynn.

Q.  How did you arrive at this point in your life, where you are practicing hypnosis as a tool for healing and spiritual exploration?

Marie:  I recall sensing and communicating with the spirit world as a child. I saw faeries and angels in the yard. However, this was put on a shelf as an adult, and I had a successful career for many years in sales and marketing. It was only in the past 7 years or so that the spiritual side of me began to reawaken.

Q.  How does your husband Lynn fit into the picture?

Marie:  I met him just as my spiritual awakening was beginning. He had worked as a programmer for many years, and was also undergoing a similar awakening process. The synergy of our combined energies seemed to initiate an accelerated process in both of us.

Lynn:
For years I had studied mysticism and paranormal phenomena, but since joining forces with Marie, actual experience has been the rule.

Q.  What sort of things have you been experiencing?

Lynn:  It’s a long story, filling several articles on my web site www.mysticalcoherence.com. The primary phenomenon has been objects materializing and moving around our house, such as polished stones and books, with some jewelry and oracle card decks thrown in for good measure.
Marie:  It started with a polished stone someone gave me at an expo. I showed it to Lynn and placed it on a shelf. Later that day I found it in my purse. I put it back on the shelf, and once again it turned up in my purse a little later. At that point Lynn held it up and said out loud: “Three times is the charm."  He returned it to the shelf, and later that evening we found it on his bed pillow.
Lynn:  The next day we found a dozen or more polished stones of various colors and types on the bed, and this was only the beginning.  Each day some of them move, and occasionally new ones appear.

Q.  Tell us about the books that appeared.

Marie:  That started later.  I’d find them on the car seat or dining room table, mostly mystery novels -- Mary Higgins Clarke, Tami Hoag, Anne Rice.  Sometimes a non-fiction book arrives on a specific topic we had been thinking or talking about, such as faeries, emotional clearing, or Reiki healing. Just the other day we were discussing using Reiki to heal animals, and I heard a clunk on the floor nearby – a book titled “Animal Reiki” by Fulton and Prasad had arrived out of the blue.

Q.  These are books that you didn’t already own?

Marie:  We never saw them before. The non-fiction items were on topics of recent interest, but neither of us had been reading mystery novels for quite some time.

Q.  What have you concluded about the phenomena?

Lynn:  We tried analyzing the titles and content of the novels in an effort to answer our basic question: Who is doing this and what are they trying to tell us? Based on Ted Andrews writings, the evidence suggests that faeries are living in our house, but the addition of our personal energies is somehow needed to trigger the manifestation activity. If there is a lesson to be gleaned from this, it’s that we are spiritual beings, not bound by the limitations of physical time and space. Every day, we see evidence of solid objects passing through bed sheets, drawers, and walls. We need a new physics to explain this sort of thing.

Q.  What is Earth & Water Wellness all about?

Marie:  Lynn and I are both light worker souls, destined to meet later in life and begin healing work together. With Earth and Water Wellness I have brought together a number of modalities to better meet the needs of my clients. I began with Reiki, added coaching, EFT, then hypnosis (traditional hypnosis, Quantum Healing,  HypnoBirthing ®, Hypno-Fertility, and diabetic coaching hypnosis).  I’m also very intuitive, and conduct readings if the client prefers to get immediate answers.  Lynn does our web and marketing design, writes articles and publishes a blog. Our business is beginning to gain some traction, so we expect a great year ahead.

Q:  What is the typical client looking for?

Marie:  Some clients wish to overcome anxiety or phobias, while others are curious to explore past lives. Sometimes amazing things happen, but it’s the client’s own subconscious doing the work. I’m just the facilitator.
Lynn:  It was exciting when Marie trained in Quantum Healing Hypnosis under Dolores Cannon, because I had been a fan of Dolores’ books for many years..  As I see it, there is a tremendous shift going on in the world. People are curious about this, and want to know more. Hypnosis is one tool for exploring our spirituality and understanding what we are doing on this planet. It’s about clearing our baggage and springing the soul loose so we can embrace the ascension of the human race.

Terri Peterson -- "Soul Breathing - Transforming with the Breath"

By Dawn Kirsch-Harr

The first breath of life leads to our last exhale at death, but for whatever span that lies in between, breathing is an unassuming, yet essential, part of life.

It seems odd that one would need lessons in how to breathe. Yet people worldwide are turning to courses on breathing for lowering stress and finding renewed vigor and clarity through age-old breathing techniques.

BREATH is the activity and infinite intelligence of Spirit moving in the body. It is the connection between the physical body and the soul. When you breathe fully and consciously you raise your bio-electric vibration.

We are vibrational beings, energetic instruments of great subtlety and power, alive in a sea of light, sound and silence. The way we vibrate affects us on every level of our being.

SOUL BREATHING is a deep, diaphragmatic, breathing process that activates a high vibrational energy that raises low vibrational energy patterns that are stuck in your electromagnetic field. It is at the cutting edge of breathwork.

Vibration is the key. It sets up a vibration that triggers profound shifts in your mental & emotional states. It generates vitality and activates the body's natural healing abilities. It rewires your energy bodies (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual) and turns on your latent DNA. You open your heart to joy and instantly feel your connection to Infinite Intelligence - a cellular experience of divinity. The resolution of restricted breathing patterns frees you to integrate your soul more fully in your body. You anchor heaven onto earth.

Terri Peterson, Soul Breathing Facilitator, guides her clients to open their breath during a breath session and coaches them to keep going with their breath. She calls on angels and guides that assist her by working through the breath of each individual to give them exactly what’s needed. Terri has seen incredible shifts in people. One client said, "I've been suffering from chronic back pain for a couple of years now. During my session I felt my spine straighten out and now my pain is totally gone. It’s hard to believe." Another said, "The breath has enhanced my clairvoyance and now I see all sorts of things." People say they feel younger and some notice they’ve lost weight. Others say that little things don't bother them anymore. One student told me, "I've been breathing for awhile now and it just keeps getting better and better. I've released many old emotions and limiting beliefs. Now that I'm more clear, I am able to hold the vibration of love and joy in my body. It's an amazing feeling of bliss and ecstasy."

Terri says, “My hope is that more and more people become aware of their breath and the potential it holds for self-healing and transformation. It's one of the most powerful, positive tools we can use to gain self-mastery and enlightened states and it has been within us all along. It is simple, free, accessible, self-empowering and it’s literally right under our noses!”

Breath Can Access the Other Side
Interview with Terri Peterson
by Theresa Nygard

“Fifteen years ago I wasn't into any of this spirituality stuff and had no idea that I was stuck,” says Terri Peterson, who has been teaching Soul Breathing for almost five years now and is loving it. “Life is a journey, and Soul Breathing has pushed me to the next level. Breathwork has allowed me to trust myself and know that I can accomplish whatever I want to achieve.”

Terri feels that Soul Breathing has allowed her to let go of old patterns and to attract the things she wants in her life. “The breath opened me up and empowered me to be me. It gave me the confidence to step out of my identity as a pharmacist and start my holistic healing practice. It brought joy and passion back into my life.  Breathwork has allowed me to open to the realm of my soul and the spiritual world in ways I never thought possible.”

Terri says that Soul Breathing works on the level of vibration: “In a breath session you activate a high vibrational energy that clears and transmutes low vibrational energy patterns that are stuck in your electromagnetic field. You create profound shifts in your mental and emotional states.  Breath activates your natural healing and intuitive abilities and draws in vitality.  As you open up and release your restrictive breathing patterns, you release your self-imposed limitations, and you can also open to the spiritual dimensions more easily.”

Terri feels that your breath is a mirror of your life. If your breath is full, that's how your life becomes. If your breath is partial, your life will reflect that sense of limitation. In the past Terri often held her breath: “Whenever I was stressed out or worried, I held my breath. That became my metaphor for how I lived my life. My breath revealed to me that that I was holding myself back in life.  As I changed my breath, I was literally able to change this pattern, expand my consciousness, and start living my soul’s purpose.”

Many of Terri’s students have experienced encounters from the other side during a breath session. As their vibration shifts, they find that they are able access higher states of conscious awareness. Many have had an angelic encounter or received a message from a loved one who has crossed over.  Terri explains: “Recently a woman who had lost her husband was able to feel him come in during her session and hold her.  She instantly she knew things would be okay.  Sometimes people get glimpses of a past life. In a recent workshop, one person saw himself as a Native American wearing a white headdress that draped to the ground. Another remembered a drowning experience and was able to release her fear of water. Each person’s experience is unique and since breath is the movement of Spirit in and through the body, it gives you exactly what you need.”

Whereas some breathing modalities take you out of your physical body, Soul Breathing actually brings you and your spiritual self into your body.  Terri comments, “Many people forget that our bodies are important and allow us to do incredible things. Being fully present in your body allows you to feel your spiritual connection and live from the level of your soul all the time.  This helps you stay balanced and centered no matter what comes your way.”

In Terri’s experience, breathwork offers many gifts, “Proper breathing can relieve stress, calm the mind, release traumas from the body, and give you a sense of peace and well-being. Breath also connects you, not only with your higher self and your soul, but to the other side where you can receive messages from lost loves ones or even feel touched by an angel.” Concludes Terri: “I invite you to breathe, and see where it takes you.”
